Some people learn to be a D.J... but Hugo H. was born one. From the very beginning, music coursed through his veins, and it became clear that he was destined for a life dedicated to the art of sound. By the tender age of 3, Hugo was captivated by the hypnotic rhythms emanating from those round black discs spinning on the record player. He developed a knack for identifying songs by just glancing at the labels, a sign of his innate musical talent.
By the time he turned 18, HUGO H. had already built a name for himself in the world of music. Every weekend, he was at the center of the party, often juggling as many as three gigs in a single night. His musical journey took him to renowned venues like The Playground, the Warehouse, and various clubs both nationally and internationally.
Over the years, HUGO H. has continued to share his God-given gift with millions. He's graced clubs all around the world, offering his signature mixes, mini-mixes, and re-mixes. His musical prowess has been heard on radio stations in cities such as Chicago, New York, and internationally in Amsterdam, as well as on SG1 Radio, SG1 House, and nationally on Jamie Foxx's Foxxhole Radio on Sirius/XM 96.
Often referred to as "THE MUSIC MASTER," HUGO H. has earned this title for his award-winning edits, extensive vinyl collection, and exceptional re-mixes. His meticulous attention to detail sets him apart and commands respect from DJs and producers worldwide.
HUGO H. has collaborated with a star-studded list of music icons, including Marshall Jefferson, Mike Dunn, Lidell Townsell, Tyree Cooper, DJ Pierre, Glenn Underground, Maurice Joshua, Jesse Saunders, Farley Jackmaster Funk, and many more. In 2013, HUGO H. unveiled his solo project, the underground anthem "Chante Vs. James" on Lumberjacks In Hell. This marked the beginning of several hot tracks, including "Let Yourself," "Moments in Dance," and "Wanna Get Next To Me." His releases span labels like Kreative Kontrol Music, featuring "Don't Leave This Love I Got" and "U Wanna," and an EP on More About Music titled "On To Another Time."
